80 people have looked at my thread, none have answered. Come on folks, you must have some advice! I don't have a prob with new equipment but ask yourself why valve amps are back in vogue after 30 years?

The B139s are well suited to TLs. Have a look at Planet 10's site for more info, and I seem to remember, some classic box designs.
B139 sub link
Hello KEFMAN:
I do not know anything about his link but it does look real interesting to me. It might be a little big for the wife.
Good luck

Kefman, I have heard some quite old kef speakers with an 8" driver and transmission line and the bass was quite impressive. It was in a large room with very bad acoustics, but it performed quite well.
I suggest you get Martin King's TL bits and pieces and have a go at modelling, then perhaps post a bit more when you have tried some sims, if you think it will work then have a go - try making a knock together box and see how it goes if unsure. Then if you are happy, make a more cosmetic and substantial design.
That "perfectionist subwoofer" i have seen some time ago. The specs are VERY hard to believe, too good to be true flat within 0.8 db down to 10 Hz with 95 db efficiency!!!! ... if TLs were that impressive, no one would build anything else!
