I'd use a 10 band eq in the signal chain and yank the 60hz slider down to -9db.
That would give a lot of headroom there.
I have a parametric EQ that I could use to drop 60 HZ.
What about splitting the 8 cubic feet into two separate volumes and tuning the two enclosures differently? I suppose I could use one in a sealed volume, and the other in a vented one as well. Or two vented cabs tuned differently? It will require some sims, but what do you think of the general idea?
Yea, I'd use eq to bring down the 60hz.
9db is huge.
I'd put both drivers in 1 big enclosure, but push pull it (m&k) or push pull (in a slot).
A "slot push pull will "diasppear" better.
