Sub Out vs Front Speaker Wires

At the moment my Front Speaker wires:

LF +
LF -
RF +
RF -

are being used for my subwoofer.

Will the sound of the subwoofer increase in quality if i used the sub out on the back of my head unit?

I assume that you are using front speaker wires and they go to your subwoofer amp via speaker level input?

Using subwoofer preout will let you fade front/back w/o affecting the subwoofer volume. Your headunit might have a dedicated subwoofer volume control and also a crossover and/or eq.

It will also eliminate noise caused by your deck's amplifier. Low level inputs are always preferred to high (speaker) level inputs as well.
