This is my first car audio install. I have a Clarion DXZ525, PG QX300.1 amp, and Bazooka single voice coil sub. All wires coming from the H/U are correct (when H/U is on, amp is on). The are no wires shorted out that I can find. The amp is bridged to the sub, but the sub seems like it isn't being driven enough. The amp is putting out 300W at 2 ohms, the sub can handle 300W. what could be the problem?
Hope it isn't too vague; Thanks for reading,

The sub is 4 ohms? Therefore your amp may only be pushing out 200w or so.
Also, your sub level is down too low, amp not turned up enough?
Box is poor design so restricting performance?
