This device is in the power supply of a Sony Discman D-160 and is blown up (referred to as a "ripple filter" in the schematic). I need a replacement that I can obtain from digikey (got an order ready to go). I can't quite figure out how to search for it. Can someone lend a hand?
I have narrowed down to:
PBSS302PX. Looks good, except Vebo is lower, 5V vs. 7V for 1120.

It looks like a pretty basic PNP transistor and could be substituted with one of a higher power with the tab cut down if needed.
As it is only a series regulator the Hfe figure will be the most important one to watch when picking a substitute.

This is the best I could find: PBSS302PX (Digikey 568-4174-1-ND). The form factor needs to match the existing, as this is a portable cd player with no room.
