sub amp mod - defeat the low-pass filter?

I've purchased the Parts Express 250W sub amp and have a concern.

Does anyone know a way to defeat the low-pass filter, since my receiver already has filtered the signal?

Rather than dinking with the amp's innerds, I'd simply suggest setting the amp filter at as high a frequency as possible, and let your previous crossover do the work.
