Benz Micro Glider and Scheu, use cartridges without a body. There is a company in Canada that removes the body of the Denond DL103/103R. First photo shows the Denon stripped by Musikraft. Can it be used that way, without a body?
Attached are photos of the Benz and Scheu for comparison. I would be interested in your opinions. Many thanks.

You will need to glue it to a threaded mounting plate, usually brass, but could be aluminum.

No worse than with the stock plastic shell.

So, it should be a matter of building my own shell. Any projects available on this forum?
There might be. Try a search. I made one a few years ago, which worked fine. I actually used my shell for a standard DL-103.
PS: Use the drawing at your own risk. I don't remember if I had to change anything while I was machining it.
