I considered buying a tuner to listen to Broadcast radio but since I rarely
listen to Broadcast radio is seems a bit of a waste of money; Though I would
like to have that ability.
I went on Google Play to find an app and while there are a lot of them listed
I really am not sure which one is good and if basically not a paid service.
I'd like recommendations for one that you are actually using.

I use tune in when I travel to hear my local stations. Some radio stations have their own live feed.

TuneIn is most definitely NOT a paid service for broadcast radio (save for any iHeart stuff). I know because I use it everyday through my phone and home computer.
