Actually, I do think Klaus has a point in what is he is saying,
or rather in what I think he is meaning. Some thread pages
takes very long time to load, and even if the text loads quickly
it won't be readable until all images have loaded since the text
will scroll up and down almost randomly before that. This is
quite often irritating, but not an ucommon phenomenon of
web pages in general.

displayed on the forum it seems. The little blue guy should
jump around, change colour etc.
Do you have animated gifs turned off in your browser, because he (it) does all the things you suggest in my browser.

Hehe, I can't believe this is a real thread. Just turn off animated gifs if it really bothers you, it isn't hard to do. 😀

No, it is turned on in the browser, so I was quite puzzled for
a while when you said it worked. Then I remembered that I
installed a proxy awhile ago to try filtering out advertisements
and such stuff, and I had turned it off there.
So much the better then. It served its purpose to illustrate
the concept. On the other hand, then I can't know any longer
if I have encountered animated GIFs here, without knowing
it, so perhaps my post was all wrong

Yes, we should stop posting here immediately, and so should
the Canadians, perhaps, and the people from the US, and the
aussies, and the germans and .... Hey, why don't we give you
the exclusive right to post here, and limit us other poor
uniformed souls to just share your unimaginable wisdom?
IN just two days or so you have provided more valueable input
to this forum than all of us others together since the forum
was inaugurated. 😉
BTW, are you sure you used the right registration form when
registered? There is a special one for those under 13 years of
age. 😉 😉

If you look carefully at the animated Gif's while pressing your up down scroll bar keys you will notice the animated Gif's stop animating for a brief period at each key press as the page is redrawn.
The solution then is simple. Press your up down keys at 50 Hz and you will not notice the Gif's animating.
