Saw the movie Saturday.
The Threshold gear gets screen time! Yay! 🙂
Here's my micro review of the movie:
Superb acting.
Awful writing, filled with fake witty banter.
Super inaccurate. It's as if they didn't even read the source material.
Way beyond poetic license.
A little harsh (and I'm no Steve Job's apologist. The guy was a jerk. I'm a Woz guy)

Propellerheads unite! 🙂
There are several examples in the film of intense showdowns between Jobs and Woz. Utter fiction.
Jobs still had redeeming qualities and probably didn't quite deserve the full bashing he got from Sorkin.
To paraphrase William Friedkin, no man is ever just one thing.

Here's the piece that appeared in WIRED.
We Pieced Together Steve Jobs' Long-Lost Stereo System | WIRED
Short for WonderZ Mike.
Who cares about script, movies are glossy mags in motion, and for checking-out babes without the risk of being sent on a final errand by the Mrs.
(Witnessed the launch of Mr Jobs' tender, designed by Philippe Starck, at the yard of an old classmate. Just popped out after it's 2nd refit at a yard near Marseille, expensive inheritance. Fassbender would make a dandy Dr Lector, impressive actor)
I would expect that about everyone on diyaudio are woz guys
I have quite a lot of admiration for both, actually.

The equipment looked great.
One of Jobs' talents was bringing together the talents of others, like Jony Ive. Jobs knew what he wanted at an intuitive level and was the final arbiter, but it took the talents of Woz, Ive and many others to flesh it out and make it a reality. Jobs was brilliant in that regard in my opinion.

He was certainly the best part of this movie.
Great in Inglorious Basterds. 🙂
We were approached by the movie company looking for the Threshold
gear, and fortunately were in possession of a pair of Stasis 1's in for
rebuild.

Especially in the Pub Scene. 😀

(For the next brain-pie ZM comes up with, and I'm foolish enough again to assemble/clone/copy, I was thinking of Cat-Astro-Fugly)
