Thanks for the clarification; x could turn out to be anything in that range though, no reason to be 1/3 without additional tricks.

You get k=1/3 when all speaker elements are supposed to have same resistance. That is R'=R.
k=1/(2+R/R').
k=1/(2+R/R').

Funny, yesterday I took delivery of four rather pricy IREL alnico drivers of that shape, for playing around (ultra compact stereo). FR limited to 200-10k nude drivers. So to make a configuration that can be used contiguous or far apart, up-firing supertweeter(s) might be in order.
Each face is an array of three skinny TV speakers totalling twelve. (Pic from link posted by @ChrisABC)Where is the driver? Upfirng into a deflector?

Could you elaborate on the diagrams a bit please? What are the differences?
And the images the FB post. How does the different setups sound?
Thank you.

Thank you.
I've built only one SSS that works well, and it is larger than a fridge and needs two angled reflectors on the side. The top driver is low-passed, which is tricky, unsound business especially with switched amps, but nothing has blown up so far.
I have built quite a few others, which I consider works in progress. Corner use seems appropriate, if accuracy and preserving the sound stage are desirable.

In my experience corner placement doesn’t sound well. My best sounding setup is when side wall are about two meters away from speaker.And listener is about the same distance from the speakerI have built quite a few others, which I consider works in progress. Thusly:So the top driver is low-passed, but how, could you show us the circuit?
That depends strongly on the corner, and whether the speaker was designed for one. Ted Jordan also got it rightIn my experience corner placement doesn’t sound well. Please share where this came from, thanks.Ted Jordan also got it right
Are those AC sources representing the amplifier outputs?
Those topdrivers are getting very strange signals from the stereo signals L and R.
