Step down (240v - 110v) transformer for KingRex T10 amplfier

Hi.

I tried wiring as you suggested in your diagram (note colours different to how you suggest as my transformer has different setup).

Orange (0V) + Black (0V) tied together

and

Yellow (55V) and red (55V) providing AC

Result was I only got about 18V reading over yellow and red 🙄

So it was fine as it was before, but the transformer inside the KingRex T20 PSU gets too hot.

I know I have a proper 240V PSU arriving soon, but it would still be nice to solve this little step down voltage problem.
