Hello Everyone,
Just curious if Stasis tech used in any newer amps or receivers. I was thinking that the patent probably expired by now and thought there may be some manufacturers using the technology but calling it something different or maybe not mentioning it at all. Many NAK engineers were probably familiar with it and ended up at other Japanese firms such as Denon or Yamaha so it wouldn't seem too far fetched that it might have happened. They were great sounding amps IMO.

Hi gto127,
What is it that makes a 45 watt Nak Stassis circuit drive a speaker so much better than other amps? Is it the current output? I had to rework my whole system after I got one.

I guess it would depend on what you are comparing it to but most of these had a lot of headroom which might make them seem louder than their rated spec. Nak also tended to underrate their equipment in specs and distortion most of the time.
I am comparing it to Crown DC300, Dyna 400, Ampzilla, Marantz 9's and many others. I drives the DQ10's effortlessly with all kinds of music. It is wonderful with any good voices!!!! have you ever heard any of the Nak / Stassis Recivers? The MC section isn't bad either!
Yes I own one-and yes good MC section.(sold all my turntables though)Just hoping as per my thread that some other company had made a receiver with same amp tech but with modern features. I guess no company has or someone would have mentioned since this is probably most knowledgeable forum on the subject.
