The potentiometers have too low resistance. Go for 10-50k.
All capacitors below 1 µF should (and will) be non-polarized, e. g. ceramics for C8 and C11 and MKP for C13-16.

go and buy a 3886 and follow the datasheet to get it working on a single polarity supply.
