OK so I made a group just for my projects in DIY and the only thing is the group format they give you is quite generic. So what I wanted to know is do I need to learn HTML to make this Group better or is there a program that can do some of the work for me. and if I do need to learn HTML what are some good books on the subject. Thanks
well, if you dont know html you should be shot. jk, im not sure if you need to know it but its SUPER easy to teach yourself, you dont need to waste money on books, you can find all the resources online, i taught myself the basics of it when i was aboot 14, so just google up something like "learn html", or "html sources". I think htmlgoodies.com is a good one. Alot of the stuff they give you, you can just copy and paste into the html editor. Just jump in and dont be afraid of it.
My favorite book on the subject is:
HTML & XHTML, The Definitive Guide
by Chuck Musciano & Bill Kennedy.
It's an O'Reilly publication. I got mine new on Amazon for
$8 - an overstock item, I believe.
If you're going to write web pages it would pay to get the program:
EditPlus 2
It's a text editor specifically designed to write web pages. Although you can get by with NotePad that comes with many verisons of Windows, EditPlus makes life simpler.
