I've started to build an attic IB using four Styke AV15's. I've got the box done and the drivers test fitted. Now I have to take the drivers out, get the thing mounted in my attic and cut the hole. FYI the box opening is 19" X 24". I'm going to try facing half the drivers in and half out to reduce second order harmonics. I hope not to get noise from air turbulence because the AV15's have thin spokes and the spider is well vented. Worse comes to worse I'll turn them around so they all face the opening.

What a beautiful setup! Bet your house will really shake, though! Let us know how it works out (I'm considering using AV15's in a dipole configuration) and thanks for the nice pics, too. Jeff

Done (almost) !
Well, I've got it (almost) done! One of my four AV15s was defective so it's back for repair. I've got the other three mounted (with the fourth hole patched over with plywood). I'm currently running the three drivers in series (one coil only). The other coil is connected to a 100 ohm pot for RDO. I'm temporarily running it off one channel of my AudioSource amp (~175 watts) until I get my 1200 watt Crown Pro Amp connected up. I've only run some test signals (I just finished an hour ago) but it can rattled dishes in the kitchen one flow below. After I get the defective driver back and the Pro amp connected I'm getting a BFD to tune it.
Take a look here for a photo album of the whole thing:

One last picture to show what it looks like from inside the manifold. The red knobs on the left control the four pots for my RDO configuration. Note that I've switched around so all drivers face inwards. It was a lot easier to install them this way - I can do it from inside the manifold. My original configuration probably would have reduced second harmonic distortion (in theory) but I'm sure I would not have noticed the difference.
