I wanted to try stacked woofer/ripole type woofer setup as the bass section for for an open baffle build I am going build. I decided to use four cheapo MCM 12" woofers.
The setup is 14"x14"x31" tall and the "throats" that the woofers fire into is nto glued in place, the threaded rods are holding them in place with the help of some Festool dominoes.
Fs for the woofers was reduced from 43Hz to 31Hz.
I have not run any sweeps yet.
Box was modelled in AJHorn 7 and the impedance bump at 300Hz was predicted.
