I have a dev board for the SSM2120 here, labelled "SSM2120 DATA FILE"
I believe it came from either Maplin or Elektor. Anyone have any data on this? I have the chip and I'd like to use it if I can.

The IC still has a datasheet: https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/obsolete-data-sheets/105738070SSM2120.pdf It's meant to be used as a VCA, compressor, limiter or expander.

I have the chip, and the aforementioned board, and would like to use them. I'm just trying to avoid some tedious reverse-engineering.

The simplified schematic in that datasheets looks wrong to me - its supposed to be a Gilbert cell, yet the outputs are paired up the same as one of the inputs...

It's not the actual board, but still very helpful.
