Hi,
I saw these ICs yesterday, and they look OK for a Med-high gain preamplifier circuit:
SSM2019BNZ

Does anyone have any experience with these pre amp ICs? Discrete only guys, dont hate me 🙂
The Voltage noise specs themselves look promising.

....ok.
Well I shall soon find out if they're any good, when Chrimbletide has passed and my samples arrive.

Well, from my interpretation of the datasheet, gains of a minimum of 5-10 times are recommended.
It is an idea to use for guitar pickups, or perhaps microphones, even phono (with following RIAA EQ. The last one may not be a brilliant idea, given the simplicity of the normal opamp phono datasheet circuits.
perhaps this post shouldve been in Analogue source in retrospect.

Basically i have found myself fascinated with opamps and the like.
After Christmas I may buy some AD audio opamps, I'm just far less familiar with their models, as is also the case with LT. I was given some LT1011 (If i recall). These piqued my interest, and I Began looking for similar items to TI LME49710/20/40, I got distracted and found the very diiferent AD preamp IC.
I also have some lme49990, and the ADs could be used similarly (perhaps, but with lesser output capability), to drive a output device. Maybe 2n3773? My idea for a cheap low wattage class A ish amp.
I'm probably nuts tbh
