alazira,
thanks for your recipe in post number 433.
I was asking for this in a post earlier. Tried it with a 5.45V and works great.
Will fit nicely side-to side for builds with 2 pos regs.
kind regards.

I was asked by PM about the neg to pos conversion so rather than separate replies I'll share here:

For a phono MC pre-pre the C101-201-301 position wich value will be better 220uF or 1000uf like for digital clocks?
bump
Phono does not need best 1-10Hz psu noise performance like clocks do, it cuts gain there by design (the simplistic surely does). 220uF is enough.

Hi necplusultra,
I'm glad it worked for you. I see you are using an electrolytic for C203. Is R207 a jumper?
alazira,
good catch,
read the guide again and R207 should be jumpered.
I am out of MKT's so I had to use Ecap.
Will fix and jumper the R.
thanks again.

They are the same thing, different only for max voltage they can take beyond 120V. Indifferent in this application.
A quick? since I'm mathmatically challenged.If I want adjustability from 12-15 volts at 200ma do I need a 10R/2w or 4.7r/2w resistor for R101/201 along with 3 green LED's in the CCS? The VR section will have 2 x red LED's a 2k2 pot and a 1k8 resistor.
Thanks
Thanks
If we assume 1.9Vf at board's operating current and 4.5V Vgs @ 200mA from 9610's chart, 5.6R looks ballpark.
Just received the BiB boards from teabag. Looking to power an old Quad FM4 tuner which requires 12V at 30mA (according to repair manual).
Any guidance would be appreciated. Also anything wrong with Mundorf AG 4700uF, 63V (I have been using the latter and decided I prefered a Panasonic FC but does anyone else have an opinion?).

I should have said I was using the cap on another power supply project.
Many thanks.
I see that Schottky diodes are not recommended. Is it the price or another reason?
