Hi.
I have a SSL XLogic alpha VHD 4-channel preamp with defect 48 volt for repair. The external power with +/-15 & +5volt is OK.
I know from other forums that these pres have this problem.
There is no visibly defective electrolytic cap in the circuit, there also is a 60 volt n-channel mosfet (TR9) which sometimes goes south but on mine this component measures all right.
Since I have no schematics, could someone help me? PLease?

Got the phantom working. Well, sort of. It gets to aprox. 46VDC which is acceptable. But once the equipment is unplugged for more than half an hour, it takes about 10 minutes to get from 24VDC (starting point) up to 46VDC (final value).
Should I replace the 3 electrolytic caps (2x 33uF/63V and 1x 220uF25V) in the PS section?
