SS No R No C Power Supply for Tubes

Hi,
I am a newbie in electronics, please pardon me for my poor english & stupid questions.

I was very interested in power supply without R and C, as inspired by
http://members.aol.com/sbench/norchv.html

I hope the toob fans won't bash me for suggesting SS in tube amps... I do not have the free access to the vast veriety of valve where I am, so I have to think of SS equivalent...

I am wondering if this can be done by SS diode to replace the voltage regulator, rectifier valves...etc?

Cheers

Did you read what Steve said about not using damper diodes because they don't have enough internal impedance? Well, that applies even more to SS diodes, because they have virtually no impedance. This circuit relies on series impedance of the various stages of the power supply. It isn't really resistance-free, just resistor-free and it uses regulators instead of capacitors. You need a different design if you want to use SS.
