hi.
Im looking for a square frame woofer and i never realised how few there are. I had a quick search Audax and TB were the brands i found most frequently.
I couldnt muster the stamina for an extensive search. (read-please dont search for me)
Does anyone have personal experience with a square framed woofer that i should consider?

First question would be why you would need a square frame but I will leave that to you. If you are looking to spend some money Radian Audio has some 10" semi square frames that have the corners rounded. They are polypro cones that I know of at this time. They use to make them also with paper cones but I think that those have been discontinued. These are pro-audio speakers so may not meet your requirement.
Not just square frames either. Google is your friend. 🙂

its daft really, i have a W3 1285 and it has a squared-off front bezel. Aesthetically, mounting a similar squarish frame, very close to the next is better than a round frame. It may also mean that driver spacing is closer.
I would turn the TB 45º so you notice the square frame less and not let it dictate the choice of woofer. I'm not sure you'd notice the difference in spacing. Isn't that more of a concern when dealing with multiple drivers covering the same frequencies?

Ya, something about calling a 6" driver a woofer doesn't sit right. Woofers start around 8" don't they? 🙂
