Spikes or feet on new plinth for Thorens??

I am in the process of building a new plinth for my Thorens TD 160 in Solid African Walnut.

Should I go for spikes, or rubber feet and use sorbothane with the rubber feet?

Any advice much appreciated

As a general rule i avoid compliant feet on a suspended TT as the complaince will interfere with the suspension. Of course this is just a guideline - you can always experiment.

Spikes usually can be used to level the unit. I use them on 2 thorens players.
