I decided to open a thread to introduce my self and elaborate a little bit one of my designs that are seen on the pictures that showing my friend Ivan (tubo) Subbu DAC V3 ,connected with model Φ(phi) 500 of my Spider series cables.
The name of the model is chosen from Greek alphabet which associates me to harmony of the energy and materialization and the letter Phi is the beginning part of the name of the person ,to which I dedicate this model ,who is important in development of the series in intellectual meaning.
My name is Igor Paljar and I am a manufacturer of the audio cables.I have started to research the cable matter and development, some 15 years ago.The motivation to start this project was ineffective attempt to find a cables for my system which could reconcile technical and emotive aspects of the music.After several years of tryouts to find the perfect cables I was surrender.That doesn't mean that I would never find the ideal cable but more logical way for me it was that I produce my self the sound that I imagine in my head and which correspond to real sound of the instruments which only can connect me emotionally to the music.
More intensive part of the project have started some four years ago after a 6 months of developing the precise manual machine which I use to produce the cable leads component of my cables which meet the industrial standard regarding all the parameters and each new sample is identical to precedent.The conductors are exclusively made from the raw materials ,be it the silver ,used for signal part of the production or copper ,for power supply cables constructions.
The insulator that I use is the cotton.It's mechanical properties beside it's dielectric characteristics ,with help of carefully developed machine allows for the best performance overall.In passing years I tested many insulators and the cotton was always the winner.The advantage of my leads design is that degree of the cotton touching the conductors ,is practically only a few percent of the cable length but conductors on its carrier ,are always in perfect geometric shape and inert so no mechanical distortion is possible.
After describing you the basics of the leads process technology we are on the beginning of the process of producing the perfect cable design.Microphonics ,which kills the natural dynamics of the music by corrupting the electromagnetic field of our construction is one of many variables which have to be successfully combined with many others construction details of the cable chassis assembly.
The actual culmination of my product lines is the Spider series.With that design I reached my personal goal of artificial music reproduction at the expense of increased dimension of the construction and over hundred working hours in manufacturing one meter pair of IC.I also have more elegant solutions but unfortunately ,at the expense of some performance compromise.
The Spider construction is practically a floating chassis of the analog turntable incorporated in cable design.It is immune to feedback impulses and it's sub chassis frequency is in the range of only a few hertz.The result of it's resonance is perfectly steady sound picture and stable response over the entire frequency range with very low noise floor.The advantages are many and it is difficult to describe them all ,it have to be heard.
That was the basic description of only one of my cable series beside two precedent Spira and Spina. I will be glad to discuss more on them and the cable constructions problematic ,in general.
After mentioning the word general ....one way for success is to stay in touch with nature regarding the materials and ideas combined with precise implementation of proprietary technology joined in unique product .This way I reached my goal ,developing the Spider which is inspired from it's web ,several times stronger and flexible than steel thread of the equivalent diameter.
