hi! Here is a videoclip about an older project from 2015. I use EM800 magic eye tubes for 6-channel stereo. It runs in a german nightclub (Galerie Kurzweil, Darmstadt) as display. It consists of a control box with EZ4 rectifier tube and two ECC83 tubes in the amp. A Line-In music signal is amplified and send to the 12 EM800 tubes. There is a RC bandpass on each EM800. In this video, the effect of spectrum analyzing is not visible so clear. I have another video with a frequency generator sweep, there you can see the tubes react oneafter another. As I said, it´s an older project, so I have to take a look for more specs. Just enjoy the clip! 🙂

Try also to power B+ of EM800 tubes from 100 Hz without smoothing capacitors, the effect can be pretty interesting!
