ok, quick (hopefully) question. i have an nview spectra c panel hooked up to my pc. the pc is using an older ati all-in-wonder 128. when i originally hooked it up, the only about 3/4 of the picture was shown (the rest was shifted off of the screen). as soon as i hit the horizontal sync tab in the drivers, it was fixed. so thats fine. however, i just ordered a vga box to use instead of the pc. will i run into a similar problem with this thing? i dont think there are any real settings on it. anyone else ever have a problem with ati and nview? thanks
anyone else have the same sync problem? anybody using a vga box? just want to see how everyone else is doing on their projects, etc.
ok, thanks a lot. havent gotten a chance to try the panel on any of the other pc's because i'd have to do some messing with drivers (and i try to leave well enough alone on the family pc. mine is another story.....)
ok, it looks like i am unfortunately having the same problem with my vga box. about 1/8-1/4 of the screen is chopped off. if this is a sync problem, does anyone know of a fix for it? the vga box is a Gamars V-Box. i'm wondering if there is something inside the spectra that could be fixed/resoldered/jumped/adjusted, etc. thanks
so i take it nobody else has found a solution or had this problem? i really would like to not need the pc within 5 feet of the projector everytime i go to use it....
does your spectra have a remote? I have two spectra pro, and the remote has buttons for shifting the image horizontally and vertically. I only have to do this once per refresh rate (ie; 60 hertz) and then it remembers the settings. also i know the phase button on my remote will widen or shrink the image slightly. Hope this helps.

Powerstrip will allow you to change the refresh on most current cards for fine adjustments.

well, i do have the remote. however, the picture is too off center for those adjustments on the remote to really do anything. i also have used powerstrip, and it does work. however, i would prefer to leave the pc with the rest of the entertainment center stuff. i have a vga box waiting to get used, however, due to this h-sync problem, it will probably just sit and do nothing.
