FINALLY GOT THE RIGHT SPECIFICATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey everybody I finally got the right specs for the Proxima Ovation 920/920+/+920 !! To anybody else who needed this info I finally got it !! There have been debating conflicts on this panel. Well I finally found out that the true specs are:
Proxima Ovation 920/920+/+920
Maximum Resolution : 1024x768 (NOT 640x480!!!)
Maximum Colors : 16.7 million
Inputs: RCA/VGA/PC/MAC
Outputs: Audio Output
Contrast Ratio: 100:1
I have heard that this is one of the best panels that you can get cheap. These are the correct specs for the panel. Other specification sheets that say 640x480 is the resolution are wrong. I have not tested this panel yet but it's on its way from ****.com.
I'm so excited that I'm getting this panel!!!!!!!!!!!

I have this panel and confirm the specs.
Though it says 16.7 million colors, I strongly believe it is 1.2 million because sometimes flesh-tones come out really creamy. This happens with all sources of video. I have tried adjusting the panel's settings, but the coloring tends to stay off. It's not too noticable if the scenes are very dark or if the brightness is low. Other than that, it is an outstanding panel if you can get a good deal on it.

How to test your theory
What you do is connect the panel to your computer and turn on the power to everything.
Then you go to the Control Panel and double click the Display icon in the window click the Settings tab and change your computer color to 16 bit. If you have an external monitor you might want to use it. If it work then your panel may be set at 16.7 million colors. If it doesn't you may have the older version of the Proxima Ovation 920 .
Not sure if this is all true. I heard it from a computer technician who knew quite a bit about LCD projection panels.

Of course I tried the display settings. No one who has noticed it except me, but I'm one to look for imperfections in things 😉.
