Hello:
I own an Onkyo CR-70R all-in-one CD receiver with above CD drive which cannot open the CD drawer anymore. Quick look inside reveals that one drive belt tore apart after all those years. It is exactly this drive belt (image not mine, grafted from French DIY blog https://www.jonathandupre.fr/articles/1 ... 0/#com3246):
Unfortunately, the author of the blog did not specify the dimensions of the belt needed, nor did he reply to my respective question. So, does anybody here know which belt I would need?
Alternatively, would anyone know a source for a replacement of the entire KSM-2401AAN mechanism? It seems to be extremely rare.
Thanks a lot!

Ways and means.
You can get a good idea simply by slipping a cotton thread around the pulleys until tight and then measure that. A round belt that is oversized can be cut down and superglued together to get a good idea of size. Belts should not be 'tight' to the extent they pull excessively on the pulleys.
Also although it looks like a square section belt is the correct one a round one would also normally work well.

I managed to completely repair it with a new try belt that costs me less then 10€ - shipment included. I got the belt from a specialist shop on eBay that has a huge selection of such drive belts (for tape decks as well!): https://www.ebay.at/str/phonohifishop?_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l2563
I also found this YouTube video quite helpful (Sega Mega CD has the same mechanism):
Best and thanks to you all,
