Speakers pop when encased in metal enclosure

I have done basic repairs to amps and speakers but am relatively a noob to all this ,I have recently read loads on these class d amplifiers and took the plunge and bought a couple of boards and various pots/binding posts etc to build myself one of these little wonders. Initial exitement as in diy was just to get it hooked up no enclosure and WOW this little thing performs (tpa3110 sure board). After a bit more reading i gave it a tweak and replaced the 8caps with oscons as widely tipped and WOW again some really nice music coming from this .So its time to put it into an enclosure and after little hunting i find a suitable metal box.I drill all appropriate holes and gradually mount it all together .On switch on my little effort just makes popping noises at the speakers 🙁 .After some troubleshooting checking all connections it turns out that its the speaker terminal that are the problem .Really confused on this one as all i have done is follow what i thought would be a simple project.

Thanks cervelorider ,seems crazy that you can buy these posts and they come with nothing to shield them from a metal case .How do manufacturers get around this ? .Ive abandoned a metal box now and gone for a wood effort .Such an annoyance considering these boards are so good sounding .
