If we consider the ACA as an incubator for new analog engineers, what’s a simple equivalent for speakers to foster that curiosity? Preferably without a router or just limited use of one? I feel like an OB that could be optionally enclosed or utilize a transmission line would be a great start.

I am interested in recommendations as well. I know there are boundless choices but sometimes having a few choices pointed out by more experienced folks goes a long way to getting things going. I would not have built an amp if it I had to figure out all of the many options on my own.

I don't have or have not heard the ACA but I have a pair of these speakers and run them on a 2 watt tube amp. These speakers are hard to beat for the price and sound.
