Speaker Range

Hi ... can someone help with speaker box influence on frequency?
I'd like to know at what general point does the box/horn/OB, etc. have little or no effect on the sound.
Some say 200hz. I need for all types of enclosures as some may differ.

The box loads the driver to produce bass, above that the shape and diffraction characters of the box will affect the midrange and top.

So the effects of the box are primarily for the LF they affect everything all the way up.

Dave ... odd coincidence; my initial question was primarily for current build. It's your BK-12M.
Are there any current articles showing improvements? Or, something you might suggest. I did not see your 5/8" plan version until I re-calculated from 3/4". Took two hrs. Dumb, DUMB!!
They will be paired with the Onlow 135hz upper bass horn and should be better than better.

It's your BK-12M.

Scott’s HK012m, i just did the drawings.

It is a modern horn to fit into the ancient BK series Madisound is selling.

If you are going to pair it with support below 135 Hz, the FE126 might as well go into a sealed box. The BK-12m does not go really low.

Do want horn, will look around.
A 500 hz horn (an octave to play with) is hard to find.
