Speaker pedigree?

I have a pair of speakers that came out of a Sears Silvertone console (uses a single 25F5 per channel) and am wondering about their pedigree. I plan on using them as full-ranges to go with a single-ended amp. The speaker appears to be an 8" full-range type with whizzer. The numbers on the back are 33-584-4.

I have tried a simple cardboard box test and found that they sound pretty good. I'm sure they will never compare with a modern full-range, but I want to know more about them anyway. I paid nothing for them, so you can't hurt my feelings on their value.

The frame implies junk, but as always the proof is in the listening. FWIW, the 1939 Silvertone console I have is 100% RCA that Sears retailed for $399, the price of a nice used car back then. Anyway, check with Sears, they actually still had my console's details on file some years ago, though of course no replacement parts, so you may get lucky with some brand, etc., info.
