Sorry fot this newbie question, but how can I measure a Speaker impedance in ohms? It must be 4 or 8 Ohms. I've got a polimeter, but it tells on every speaker I measure that has got a 0 Ohm impedance, so it doesn't work, is this a normal situation, can I do this with the polimeter or do I need something more?
Any suggestion?
sorry for the newbie question, is there any post to help begginers in questions like this? Thanks

An ordinary multimeter with a low ohms resistance range (usually x1 on an analogue meter) can be used - a 4ohm speaker will usually measure around 2.5 to 3.5 ohms DC, while 8ohm speaker can be 5.5 to 7 ohms or so.
