how much increase do have to do for the one inch convulated foam? do you add a .25 " or 1" to the inside opening of the box? what is the way to figure this out.please help.
Not sure what "convoluted foam" is. All I can say is that when it comes to stuffing for enclosures, the thickness of the stuffing is calculated by squeezing a piece of it tightly and counting that amount. So if you pinch a 2" thick piece and it goes down to 1/4", then 1/4" is what you count as occupying box space.
Needless to say, a 1" layer of most stuffing counts essentially as negligible box volume. I suspect "convoluted foam" would be similar.
