Speaker Enclosure -Bare Basic Router Bits & Bobs needed for Circle Cuts, Flush Mount
For Speaker Enclosure Build
I’ve just ordered a router + circle template
Just to start, what would be the very basic router bits needed:
- To cut speaker holes in MDF and plywood and surounds for flush mount installation
- To round the edges from the speaker enclosure
It would be great to know the bread & butter bit types & sizes for these tasks

Enough to build your speakers.
You don't say what size router.
These are good for individual bits and great tips for DIY jigs etc -

Thanks guys
I've bought a bunch of products from the KWB Line Master Series and got them already delivered. They put a few clever thoughts into this line and the quality is decent enough for projects

To cut venered plywood without tearing the edges, buy a down spiral bit. It's more expensive than a strait cutter but leaves a perfect edge on one side as it cuts down. A 1/2 and or 3/4 inch roundover for the corners.
