Hi
I wonder if anyone can tell me what kind of driver this is. I want to find the specifications to be able to do simulation in my modifying project of an old Speaker kit I once built, about 17 years ago.
It's a middle freq. driver.
There is the numbers 190897X stamped on them.
The speaker kit is from HiFi kit in Stockholm Sweden. This thread link is also sent to them. Hopefully they can tell me what it is but I put it here so I have a greater chance.
The other elements in the kit was Seas bass woofers and, from the beginning, a Perless tweeter. I changed it to Dynaudio D28/2 later because the tweeters was burned when playing loud for a long time. The Dynaudio tweeter has served me well ever since 🙂

Hi,
Your driver is probably a Peerless KO40.

Thanks Björn
You are probably right. I slightly recall it now when I see it.
This is one of those times you really appreciate the Internet. 🙂

It is the mentioned Peerless, of that i have no doubt.
It was widely used, I 1st saw it in some of the smaller IMFs, and it was the midrange in the 2nd verion of Chris Rogers' Pro9TL
