speaker box size.

I recently got 2 peak 12" drivers and i need to know what size speaker box to build. There about 10 years old so theres no stats in winisd for them.
Should i just get the dimensions of another 12" driver and build that size box?

You know the brand or name of the drivers?
Data might be probably found elsewhere, than in your software.

Without numbers it is really hard to say what an optimum size box is. But it is pretty safe to put them in a sealed box as big as you can live with. You can fill it with bricks if it is too big, and if it is too small you can just make it aperiodic.

Yep, a sealed box is your safest bet as a successful vented-box implementation (if you wanted one) requires that the T/S parameters be good enough. Since the drivers are 10 years old, there's no way of telling by how much the T/S parameters have shifted already.

ok thanks alot. i was going to make vented boxes but ill make them sealed instead.
