Hello to all.
I read here:
http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidu035/tidu035.pdf
where we talk about the TIPD134 electronic filter created for the pair of speakers that can be seen at the bottom of the pages.
in the drawing you see on page 36 there are the measures of height and width but I do not find the measure on the depth and not even the thickness of the wood. is it possible to self-build this pair of speakers?
I don't understand if it is rear bass reflex or pneumatic suspension.
should the filter be placed before or after the amp?
Hello and thanks

Hi,

RS 180-8 is a driver to be optimally used in a vented enclosure (Qts=0.31; Vas=24.4 lit) which in a simulation transfers to 15 litres vented, Fb=41Hz (vent 2" by 8"), F3/F6/F10=41/36/32 Hz . You could build this project as suggested in this paper. The crossover goes before an amplifier, as written in "Theory of operation" on page 3.
