MiniDSP miniStreamer might be what you are looking for... USB interface with coax SPDIF input and output lines. Not expensive.
I am making a diy amplifier with dac and analog inputs, so I need a spdif board converter to connect the usb from pc to my dac.MiniDSP miniStreamer might be what you are looking for... USB interface with coax SPDIF input and output lines. Not expensive.
I used a PCM2902B, it worked perfectly for my application. I'd have to investigate the CM6631A to comment on it.
Nobody???
I have heard that xmos chip delivers hard the high frequencies. Does anyone believe that?

I don't believe it could be due to the XMOS chip directly. Could just possibly be a secondary effect of the XMOS having a higher power draw.
Is Xmos better chip than CM6631A or there are no much references?I don't believe it could be due to the XMOS chip directly. Could just possibly be a secondary effect of the XMOS having a higher power draw.
I'd say not, solely based on power consumption. But its possible XMOS has reduced the power demands on the latest generation of chips. My knowledge of XMOS isn't up to date.
