Hello,
I've a little question about SPDIF receivers (DIR). A design require 2 DIR for the same input signal (in other word, a single DIT for 2 DIR).
Can I connect them together ? About the impedance 😕 ?
Thank you for help !
Regards,
David

Hi
If you look at for example the CS8412, it has high input impedance compared to the 75 ohm of SPDIF. This means you can parallel them and it will work fine.
Nevertheless, Jock will argue that you should use buffers to drive the inputs, and use a coupling transformer. As usual, Jocko is right, so if you want ultimate performance........
