Still liking them? I have Tannoy 385HPD's, Quad 988's and Vienna Acoustics Beethoven's and the Vulcans are way the best.

With my more serious hat on tuning (~42Hz) is set by the path length, which is all but identical in the three enclosures. The larger cabinets are impedance matched to a lower frequency of course & have progressively greater dynamic range.
