Hi, all,
I've just built a set of Troel's Gravesen's Illuminator Monitors, and they are amazing! Just for the sake of it, and to experiment more easily, I'm thinking of adding a switch that will allow for various levels of tweeter attenuation. Does anyone know of a single-pole three-way switch that would be suitable? I'm guessing that the Goldpoint switches, being made for line level, probably are not suitable. I can't find anything on Mouser.

FYI, the box is veneered with sapele, the front baffle is solid jatoba with a veneer of burled walnut. I made a bad mistake with the jatoba, still visible a bit, so the veneer over it was to cover the mistake. It was worth it.
Look for an 'on-on-on' Double pole 3 way switch, it could be configured to do what you want; There's a centre off version which is more common, but you can't get the levels in sequence if you use that. Nice veneer job BTW, I'm just having a go at that at the moment

Thanks for the suggestion and the kind words!
I have made enough mistakes to have learned a fair bit about veneering. It took me three attempts to get this one done. (Sadly, no, I'm not joking.) Paper-backed veneer is so much easier. I'd used that on many other projects but tried to go with raw veneer on this one. The specific veneers I tried just did not work, because they were too fragile, especially this one, which is beyond stunning, but beyond fragile. Bits would fly off when I tried to trim the edges, no matter how I did it. SO I ended up going with paper-backed sapele veneer on the sides. The front is raw veneer. I'm not sure how I got that to work.
Anyway, feel free to co-opt this thread if you want to talk veneer. Or email me at same username at gmail.

In case anyone is looking for the same thing and stumbles across this thread, this item:
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/633-M2024B2B1WO1seems like ti will do quite well. It's a SP3T ON-ON-ON switch. In my case, I only need to swtich one leg (+), to different input resistors.
