Hi all,
The right channel of my friend's Carver TFM-35 is occasionally lower the sound level. He called Sunfire support, and he was told the offending parts were the SA1370 and SA3467 transistors. However, I had a hard time to find the source of these 2 types. I openned the case and found the 2 pairs of the transistors that had these 4 digit numbers, one pair had A1370, and the other had C3467. Should the SA3467 be SC3467?
I found these 2 from Newark:

Are they the right parts that I am looking for?
Thanks!!!

Fred,
2SA1370 and 2SC3467 sound plausable. Here is datasheet.

Not sure they can tell this is the problem but should be fairly inexpensive to try. Looks like a driver pair. Follow safety precautions....
readily available from most japanese transistor suppliers (MCM, BD Ent, etc)
