was wondering where people get aluminum/metal enclosures for their electronics projects. i'm looking for standard cases for solid-state gear (not tubes)... i got a very nice amp case from a company in taiwan a while ago but it was a bit expensive. i've looked at Sescom, but their selection is somewhat limited. Mark V electronics had what i was looking for a while back but i dunno if they are still in business. any suggestions?

incidentally, i got my current amp/preamp case from THL Audio in Taiwan, it is really nice but a little expensive plus international shipping is a pain, but i highly recommend them if you're willing to spend some extra bucks on cosmetics:

Has anyone found a case solution that looks like Jolida / Music Hall / maybe Cambridge cases? i.e. black with brushed aluminum faceplate?

would be good to know a decent supplier in europe. can't battle with mixing different faceplates with different chasis with different heatsinks.... i need a one-shop solution.

If no one has a source for complete boxes, how about a source for faceplates that fit on the major suppliers of boxes (Hammond, Par-Metal, etc)? Anything like that out there?

Has anyone seen any brass, gold plate, or copper knobs?
Doh - Just found the link at the top of his post...
But I am still looking for 3/4", 1" & 1 1/4" sizes of the same style, in brass, gold or copper.
