I've got one of those i'm using for a tube amp project,you can take a peek HERE
The top and bottom plates are aluminum,fairly thick,but easy enough to drill through with a good sharp bit.The bottom has slits cut for ventilation.The cage,and 'frame' appear to be (thinner) steel.
There's a precut hole in the side for a IEC plug/switch,etc.
It's all powder coated,and pretty nice,Pretty heavy-duty too.
