I need six of these. I have a pair of vintage stereo speakers and I'm rebuilding the crossovers. the old pots are not in good shape and a few are broken. Each speakers uses three.

There are ceramic wire wound pots, about 1.5 inches in diameter marked 25W and 5 Ohms. But I'll take anything close.

I have found a couple sources but they want $85 each which is nuts.

Worst case is I'll have to use a rotary switch and fixed power resistors.

Mouser: 8 ohm 25w for $28, and they have seven in stock.
RHS8R0E Ohmite Rheostats

A couple other candidates in that price range but only 1 or 2 in stock.

Check out Fair Radio, a surplus outlet, they show some 25w rheostats in 6 ohm and 7 ohm for $3.25 each. That ought to work.
Fair Radio Sales Company Inc.

I like Fair Radio, they been around for a long long time

Say, do these mount on the jack panel for adjustment by the user, or are they internal? If internal, could you not mount three of the adjustable wire-wound ceramic resistors inside and set them where needed?
