Hi guys, does anyone have a driver board for a Soundstream Reference 500 they would like to sell? I’ve replaced most of the active components and repaired several broken traces but the board still won’t work. I’ve done some extensive repairs to the main board and got the amp working, but one channel won’t produce sound. I swapped the driver boards from one side to the other and the previous non-working channel now plays fine so I know it’s the board. Thanks.

Good thinking flip flopping them to confirm, but what makes you think the bad driver board is unrepairable?
I’ve replaced most of the transistors on the board, ohm’d all the resistors and checked the diode on the board. Found several broken vias from a previous repair and repaired them but still no go. I’m beginning to believe a couple of the replacement transistors might be fakes. I bought them off eBay because I couldn’t find them anywhere else. ☹️
Go to ebay and search for seller named originalparts_nos
If you find the right seller, they have the driver board you need

I bet you have a broken pad on the board and its not connecting correctly. Pull it out again (Use solder braid!) and look closely. Its probably still fixable. Otherwise, original parts_nos - $10.
No need to remove parts, just ohm the connections between component leads,
and look for an open circuit. Add a jumper wire to bypass the open trace/pad.

I do have the Gerber files if you interested in making a brand new pcb, which I have to do so when previous repair was damaging the driver card.
That would be great! I’ve had JLCPCB make some remote controller boards for me recently with great results. My email address is: cmrvi1@yahoo.com.
Let me know if there’s a charge. Thanks. 😃

Hi, u got mail.
Let me know if it doesn't fit your requirement, as I recall there might be slight difference regarding the LTP transistors used in the card.
