Hello Perry 🙂
I don't use bassboost
for the crossover on the sinus live it's a 24db/oct and the soundstream it's a 12db/oct but the cut off frequency is the same 😕
i think the sinus live is a poor classD amp because i also have a "ploc" when i power up the amp.
The sub move a little to forward in the same time i listen the ploc😕
and with the soundstream i use the same ground and power wires and i haven't this "ploc"
i think the sinus live amp have a problem 😕

I agree. I think the sinuslive may have a problem. How much DC do you have across the speaker terminals before and after the turn-on pop?
i'll go mesure dc voltage
and when i test the amp on a supply 13.8V 12Amp i can here the TL494 do a noise like a switch that do on/off several times extremely fast before the amp start 😕 and the ploc noise appear after

i mesured 0.433VDC when i listen the pop noise when i switch on the Amp
before when the amp is off i haven't no DC at output just only When the Amp power On
have you got an idea of the problem please ?
Thanks 🙂

Was that with speakers/load connected?
How long, after you apply remote voltage, does it take for the amp to make the pop through the speakers?

Hello Perry
Thanks 🙂
the 0.433VDC at output is when the speaker in not connected
The noise appear after 1 second i power on the radio 😕
Thanks 🙂

I'll try to change the ground
Thanks 🙂

Hello Perry 🙂
no it is not the soundstream amp
it's the sinus live amp classD who have this problem

Post the question in the sinus live thread so this doesn't get confusing and will be useful for others in the future.
...or pick up two Ref.700s and run those for the sub, plus another Ref.500 and also run all SS instead of Fosgate for your components.
Those Reference series amps are so warm, rich, vivid and articulate I can't imagine not using it on your Mid and high range as well.
I doubt you'll ever get Class AB sound & control from a Class D amp.
If they've perfected it to the degree that Class D now actually has woofer control and a decent damping factor, please clarify for me which brand!

Hello
Thanks RennoVattio
for the moment i use the soudstream 500S on a zeuz Dc12825imps subwoofer
because my subwoofer groundzero gzuw12x is too powerfull to be drive correctly by the soundstream amp......
yes the sound is great with the 500S but they are expansive 🙁
the 500S cost me nothing because i did an exchange with a bad amp in a shop who sell products use. a great deal for me !😀😛
i will replace the puch 200.4 with a soundstream reference, but i wait for it in this shop 🙂
