With this post I would like to announce the release of SoundEasy V22.
It is a standard upgrade with 27 items on the upgrade list. Please review to consider, if this upgrade is for you.
Amongst the improvements, there are four areas, to which I would like to draw your attention:
1. Measurement System - SE incorporates new, analogue ESS Measurement System (in addition to MLS). This is a big ticket item. The ESS system is a dual-channel implementation, so absolute phase can be measured, same as in MLS system. Measurements of SPL/Phase and Zin/Phase are provided. Also impedance calibration function is provided. Runs at 44.4 / 48 / 96kHz, all 24 bit.
2. Diffraction Modeller - Option for manual entry of front baffle vertices coordinates in Diffraction Modeller. There are many other improvements too.
3. Crossover Module - Crossover design and optimization using off-axis SPL curves. This is a big ticket item.
4. System Module – Added “Power Response” and “Directivity Index” calculations from measured data and modelled data.
5. EasyLab system – Incorporates number of improvements - many of them were suggested by you.
The detailed list of upgraded/new features and new manual chapters have been already uploaded onto my website (and can be further changed if necessary), so please have a look if you are interested in more details of this upgrade.
